There is a myth many of us grew up with saying “We Only Use 10% of Our Brains”. Well that’s just not true at all.
But that said I think we can say that “ We Only Use 5% Of Our iPhones (or Macs).
The other week I began work on programming and UI updates to my Claris FileMaker 360 Difference software, a Construction Estimating and Project Management suite I first started building in 1995 and haven’t updated in the last two years. I always used two say the more I learned about what Claris FileMaker (an Apple owned company) does the more I realized how little I really knew about what it could do.
Working on the iOS UI for my stuff I came to the realization about just how little I really knew about iOS and all the stuff my iPhone was capable of so I made a point of everyday trying to dig into the apps on my phone to discover ways to use them that are new to me.
In my search for How To sources I stumbled across a bunch of great YouTube Channels and I discovered this one today…Ellen’s Tips For iOS a YouTube channel for “Helping Seniors Master their iPhones and iPads!“! She is now part of my intensification of learning more about the Apple iOS apps Notes, Reminders, Camera and the third party iOS app One Note.
Beyond her YouTube Channel: Ellen’s Tips For iOS – YouTube she also has a great Website: Ellens Tips For iOS and a Twitter account: @ellen_tips so we can stay aware of new tips.
I found this one of Ellen’s videos a great help today. Just what I needed when I needed it.
